Residential Assistant-part-time 3rd shift
About The Position
Seeking a dependable overnight caregiver to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients with developmental disabilities while maintaining a clean and supportive home environment. Current shifts available: Part-time 3rd shift-10pm-8am (fri and sat night) PRN-to work as needed as a sub, shifts vary. The King’s Daughters’ School promotes independence through educational, residential and community services for individuals with developmental disabilities, continuing a 100-year legacy of service. Our Vision: The King’s Daughters’ School will improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through caring, goal-oriented service delivered by dedicated staff in a safe, warm learning environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
- Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients
Nice To Haves
- No experience with developmental disabilities? No problem! We prefer candidates with some background, but we're willing to train the right person who shows genuine interest and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism
- Follow a nightly cleaning routine
- Complete routine bed checks
- Assist students in waking and dressing for the day
