Residential Assistant-Weekends
About The Position
We are seeking a Residential Assistant to work full-time Saturday and Sunday 7am-10pm, providing caregiving and supervision to adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The King’s Daughters’ School promotes independence through educational, residential and community services for individuals with developmental disabilities, continuing a 100-year legacy of service. Our Vision: The King’s Daughters’ School will improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities through caring, goal-oriented service delivered by dedicated staff in a safe, warm learning environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Able to pass background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions) and drug screen
- Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients
- Willingness to complete required certifications
Nice To Haves
- No experience with developmental disabilities? No problem! We prefer candidates with some background, but we're willing to train the right person who shows genuine interest and dedication.
