About The Position
Farha Roofing, an award-winning, family-owned company and one of the fastest-growing roofing teams in the Midwest, is seeking a motivated and organized Residential Assistant Superintendent. This role supports the residential production team and is ideal for individuals with roofing experience who enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in quality workmanship, and are looking to grow their career in leadership.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous roofing or construction experience required; residential roofing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read work orders, scopes of work, and manufacturer installation specifications.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds as needed.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones, apps, and basic computer software.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or crew supervision experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Residential Superintendent in managing residential roofing projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate crews, materials, equipment, and job schedules to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Perform job site inspections to verify quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Communicate with homeowners, Project Managers, crews, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the project.
- Help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor job progress and report project updates.
- Assist with resolving job site issues and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify materials are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Complete job documentation, photos, and production reports using company software.
- Participate in production, scheduling, and safety meetings.
- Support continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
