Shift: 4 days / week: Sunday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Wednesday 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM A Day in the Life You will play a crucial role in overseeing the Youth Support Specialists and ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. You will provide guidance, support and leadership to the team to maintain a structured and therapeutic living environment. How This Position Contributes to our Mission Functions as a team leader within the program and in the absence of the Program Manager. This includes modeling of appropriate intervention strategies to ensure interventions are therapeutic, supportive, and effective.Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Youth Support Specialists. Participate in evaluation of employee performance.Supervise all SCM incidents as they occur, provide debriefing, coaching, and training to Youth Support Specialists as needed to maintain optimal safety for residents and staff. Assists in treatment planning to ensure appropriate services are available to address the emotional, behavioral, spiritual, and physical needs of the client.Responsible for documenting resident progress, including any negative behaviors expressed, resident concerns, significant incidents, unusual occurrences and/or emergency events in a timely and accurate manner.Lead house shift change meeting to ensure that adequate planning is done before shift changes occur.
