CDL Residential ASL Driver
About The Position
The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transporting to post-collection facilities. Operating a modern, fully automated side-loading truck, you will navigate curbside routes to provide seamless waste removal for our neighbors. This is a solo-operator role that rewards independence, precision, and a commitment to safety.
Requirements
- A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience (or a CDL school certificate).
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs repetitively and the stamina to handle the physical demands of the road.
- Excellent spatial awareness (backing up 120+ feet in tight spaces) and the ability to recognize unacceptable waste materials.
- A self-starter attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing weather conditions and route needs.
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
- Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.
Responsibilities
- Operate state-of-the-art automated side-loading trucks and hydraulic systems with expert precision.
- Safely collect solid waste or recyclables on assigned residential routes, ensuring every customer receives "Green Ribbon" service.
- Conduct rigorous pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and professional demeanor, acting as a brand ambassador on the road.
- Work closely with supervisors to optimize routing and improve efficiency.
