Specific duties during the digest schedule include processing returns and appeals, preparing for and defending appraisal values during hearings, compiling sales reports, and collecting and organizing permit data for new construction. During revaluation, the role involves plotting land sales, determining land valuation methods, inspecting residential property sales, calculating fair market values, and analyzing sales ratio data. This classification is designated as a safety-sensitive position subject to drug and alcohol testing. General clerical tasks, assisting taxpayers with exemptions, and providing assistance to other employees are also part of the role.
