About The Position

The Real Estate Assessments Office of Prince William County is searching for a Real Estate Appraiser Trainee in Woodbridge, Virginia. This is one of several positions that train and perform professional work in the appraisal of real property for assessment purposes. The successful candidate will be trained to assess real property using all three approaches to value (cost, income, sales comparison), collect and analyze information from various sources and conduct field inspections, enter information into the computer-assisted mass appraisal database, and respond to inquiries concerning assessments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
