About The Position

This position is responsible for providing daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential facility. The role involves maintaining appropriate records and ongoing written and verbal communication with the supervisor regarding daily client activities. The goal is to facilitate an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
One year of related work experience preferably in a social service setting OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to exercise good judgment and make responsible decisions with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to exhibit personal integrity, mature judgment, and emotional stability suitable to the job.
Ability to adhere to The Salvation Army Mission Statement by practicing respect, esteem, and dignity toward all mankind.
Valid State Driver License

Responsibilities

Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential facility.
Maintains appropriate records in addition to ongoing written and verbal communication with the supervisor in relationship to daily client activities.
Facilitates an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization.
Assists and responds to inquiries from non-clients.
Maintains and updates records of all program residents.
Completes assigned paperwork, documentation, and statistics as assigned.
Follows the written policy and procedures for confidentiality in order to maintain the privacy of the residents.
Provides necessary crisis intervention.
Ensures 24-hour monitoring of clients.
