Women’s Bridge is an 8-bed residential work release program that supports women with identified mental health needs as they transition from incarceration back into the community. Using a gender-responsive and trauma-informed approach, the program provides individualized support focused on recovery, employment, life skills development, and successful community reintegration. Through structured programming and case management, Women’s Bridge helps residents build the skills, stability, and supports needed to achieve greater independence, reduce recidivism, and lead productive, healthy lives. This Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved women as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a client/customer support background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
