Community Housing Innovations (CHI) is a not-for-profit housing and human services organization that aims to support social and economic independence. Our vision is to end generational poverty and foster upward mobility by ensuring that all families and individuals live in quality housing, have a home of their own, and a job to support them. We believe quality, affordable housing is the foundation for prosperity, personal fulfillment, and success. CHI employs a team of hard-working, compassionate people who want to give back to others in their community. The Safety Monitor / Residential Aide (“SMRA”) coordinates and ensures the overall safety and security of the facility. The SMRA monitors and verifies resident movement, conduct, and overall behavior in the facility and around the perimeter of the building. The SMRA manages access control to ensure all residents and visitors comply with building entry and exit protocols and conducts daily bed counts for vacancy control. The SMRA also assists with food distribution, resident supplies distribution, mail distribution, and coordination of maintenance and repair needs with hotel / facility management.
