About The Position

Recovering Hope Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Advocate to join their team. This part-time role, up to 24 hours per week, focuses on helping women and families overcome substance use disorders. The position offers comprehensive training, making experience unnecessary. The Residential Advocate plays a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment by providing emotional support, overseeing recovery activities, and assisting clients with daily living tasks. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable with computers and basic tech
  • Frequently communicate with employees, parents, clients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.
  • Frequently reach above shoulder height to reach necessary items, including supplies, medications, etc.
  • Frequently complete repetitive tasks.
  • Sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 60 lbs. from floor to waist height.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate recovery activities and support clients with daily living tasks.
  • Engage with clients, their children, and families with compassion.
  • Conduct room checks, transport clients, and maintain building security.
  • Keep client records updated and handle essential administrative tasks.
  • Assist with intake, discharge, and visiting hours.
