About The Position
Appleseed Community Mental Health Center in Ashland, Ohio is seeking caring and dependable persons for the part-time PRN Residential Advocate position. This position would be working for the Rape Crisis Domestic Violence Safe Haven (a residential shelter for persons fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a drug test and background check
Nice To Haves
- Need to commit to working 2 shifts per month
Responsibilities
- Work independently on the weekends and holidays overseeing the shelter
- Answer hot-line calls/texts
- Ensure safety of residents by monitoring shelter activity using cameras and alarm system
- Support survivors
- Document services using electronic system, Osnium
- Intake new residents, as needed
