This position requires flexibility and requires you to wear many hats, have a proactive mindset, and strong organizational and leadership skills. RAs have the amazing chance to get to know and work with an incredible population of international students. RAs will work 20 hours or more per week (varied between Days, Nights, and Weekends, in addition to on-call hours 1-2 nights per week, overnight). Primary responsibilities include helping the students at the reception desk, leading on and off-campus activities, performing administrative tasks, dorm room checks, dormitory duties, plus other duties as assigned by the Housing or Activities department. The Resident Assistant (RA) position is a dual-role position which combines housing and residence life responsibilities while also contributing to our activity program. You will report to the Housing Director for RA duties and the Activities Manager for Activity Leader tasks.
