About The Position
The Residence at Presque Isle Bay is seeking compassionate Resident Wellness Associates to join our care team. We have full-time and part-time openings available on our morning (1st) shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). This role features a stable, predictable schedule with a rotating weekend requirement. If you enjoy supporting seniors and want a rewarding career with steady hours, we provide comprehensive, paid on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior caregiving experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the position, including assisting residents with mobility and transfers.
- Successful completion of standard pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior residents with daily activities, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and morning or midday meal support.
- Provide supportive companionship and assist with scheduled morning and early afternoon activities.
- Observe resident well-being and report any physical or behavioral updates to the supervising nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all community members.
