About The Position
The Residence at Presque Isle Bay is seeking compassionate Resident Wellness Associates to join our care team. We have a full-time opening available exclusively on our afternoon (2nd) shift. This role features a stable, predictable schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week with a rotating weekend requirement. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training for those looking to start a career in senior wellness.
- Reliable attendance and the physical stamina to assist with resident transfers.
- Ability to pass standard pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals during the afternoon and evening hours.
- Provide meaningful companionship, support evening activities, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
- Observe resident well-being and communicate any physical or behavioral changes to the supervisor before shift crossover.
