About The Position
Cura Health is seeking a dependable and personable Resident Transportation Driver to join our Cura of Le Sueur team on a part-time basis with variable hours. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, outings, and other activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a friendly demeanor to provide exceptional service to our residents. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous driving experience, preferably in healthcare or senior transportation.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours with variable scheduling.
- Pass required background and driving checks.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to medical appointments, social activities, and other destinations as scheduled.
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transportation vehicles.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families regarding transportation schedules and any changes.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to supervisors.
