About The Position

The Resident Services Supervisor is responsible for the daily administration and service delivery goals through an assigned program or service delivery area\community. Under general direction, this position is responsible for the administration of grant funded programming; TAEM and Our Chance TN. Under direction of the Resident Services Manager, this position acts as the connector for MDHA, partners, residents, and community members in implementation of an Envision Center for MDHA’s Envision program at Sudekum-Napier Homes. Actively provides intake and service delivery to connect residents in the Napier-Sudekum community to services that ensure pathways to economic self-sufficiency, lifelong learning, and personal development. This position conducts and supervises outreach, intake and assessments, and case management for residents in the Napier-Sudekum community. This position also manages Resident Service Coordinator level staff, volunteers and support staff as assigned.

  • Ability to plan, organize and direct various programs
  • Knowledge of methods and principals involved in assessing program effectiveness and the ability to make rapid course corrections to ensure program goals will be met

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field and three (3) years of relevant experience preferably in social services, workforce development, education, and/or health

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Managing the Envision Center – Sudekum-Napier facility
  • Request maintenance or manage contracts as required to keep Envision Center in good, clean and serviceable condition
  • Assist MDHA leadership in managing Envision Center partnerships by addressing day-to-day operational needs of Envision Center partners
  • Trains and supervise assigned Voice Center staff
  • Facilitate client intake process by providing initial screening and assessments
  • Provide education and information to clients about resources available at the Envision Center and with community referral partners
  • Participates in periodic Resident Needs Assessment updates
  • Participate in and assist in organizing professional development opportunities and cross-training with Envision Center partners
  • Connect clients to the appropriate services at the Envision Center and with community referral partners, and conduct follow-through with partners as needed
  • Participate in client outreach opportunities and community events to build strong relationships with residents and spread awareness about service offerings at the Envision Center
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Envision Center partners, including service providers on-site as well as referral partners
  • Assist MDHA leadership in training Envision Center partners on data entry and reporting expectations
  • Conduct routine Envision Center reporting on outcomes, services, and partnerships, including data and information critical to program evaluation
  • Review Envision Center partner data to ensure data quality and timeliness of reporting
  • Works with the partner network to use updated Needs Assessment and other data to evaluate changing needs in Envision target areas to develop resources and programs to address those needs in the Envision Center
  • Assists the Resident Services Manager with development, promotion, and implementation of master plans related to the redevelopment of MDHA public housing sites, with a particular focus on the resident services component at Sudekum-Napier
  • Maintain client case files, conducting data entry and regularly monitoring client outcomes
  • Communicate with MDHA leadership about challenges, opportunities, and trends in Envision Center outreach, programming, partnerships, and outcomes
  • Assist clients in creating service plans and support clients in goal attainment
