Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of health care experience with elderly preferred.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or qualified Home Care Aid Certification required.
- CPR/1st Aids, Food Handler Permit, Specialty training including Dementia and Mental Health training; Developmental Disability training, and nurse delegation training certificates are required or are willing to follow the WAC AL regulation to obtain these training certificates after hiring.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight with medication distribution and refilling, vital sign checks, BG testing, and similar actions.
- Supports all daily living activities that residents are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice.
