Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of health care experience with elderly preferred.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or qualified Nursing Assistant Registration or qualified Home Care Aid Certification required.
  • CPR/1st Aids, Food Handle Permit, Specialty trainings including Dementia and Mental Health training; Developmental Disable training, and nurse delegation training certificates are required or is willing to follow the WAC AL regulation to obtain these trainings certificates after hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Works with and assists older people who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help.
  • Fosters residents' independence and freedom of choice.
