Resident Property Manager Self Storage
About The Position
US STORAGE CENTERS A Westport Properties Company is seeking a Resident Property Manager. This is a full-time position offering $23.00 to $24.00 per hour plus housing accommodations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Sundays closed. Requirements
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable with basic computer and office skills
- Good communicator – written and verbal
- Self-starter who can work independently and stay organized
- Available to work weekends (Saturdays required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have a Real ID or Passport for air travel (effective 5/7/25)
- High school diploma required
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred
- Prior retail, hospitality, restaurant, or self-storage experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drive sales, marketing, and occupancy at the facility
- Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, walk-in, and online inquiries
- Show, rent, and clean units; sell packing and moving supplies
- Manage delinquencies through scheduled outreach (calls, letters, invoices)
- Handle daily office operations: open/close, petty cash, bank deposits, reporting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure property, including light maintenance, lock checks, and daily inspections
- Assist with auction prep as required by law
- Maintain organized tenant documentation
