Requirements

  • PhD degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP accredited graduate program
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification

Responsibilities

  • Equipment quality assurance
  • Treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy
  • High and low dose rate brachytherapy
  • Prostate brachytherapy
  • Stereotactic radiosurgery
  • Image guided radiotherapy
  • Special treatment procedures
  • Participate in departmental presentations and rounds
  • Attend tumor boards and grand rounds at UAMS
