About The Position

To provide and support pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying, and resolving drug related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics, and medication/pharmacotherapy education. To participate in performance improvement, academic programs, and clinical research activities of the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products
• Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity
• Computer skills and accuracy in calculations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Registered pharmacy intern with the Florida Board of Pharmacy or Registered pharmacist in Florida (must be registered pharmacist in Florida within 90 days of hire)
• Less than one (1) year of experience
• Supervisory responsibility of 3 employees
• Experience serving patients of all age groups
