Brooklyn Point is a 68-story mixed-use condominium tower that includes 458 luxury units and over 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Brooklyn Point is the first for-sale residential property at City Point - the largest food, shopping, and entertainment destination in Brooklyn. Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective ability to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, the Equal Employment Opportunity, Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes, and 32BJ Union Guidelines.
High school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
A minimum of 5 years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and systems.
Luxury hotel or residential background.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters daily.
Facilities and operations experience with solid knowledge of building systems.
Prior experience with Cooling Tower systems.
Working knowledge of painting and finishing work.
Strong background in working with fire, life, health, and safety systems.
Effective judgement and decision-making.
A working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Windows, Yardi etc.
Effective supervisory skills with 5 years’ experience managing luxury building staff.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with BMS (Building Management Systems, BuildingLink, and Yardi) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as the liaison between the residents of Brooklyn Point and Extell Management Services Inc.
Exercise effective judgment and decision making in the oversight of the daily operations of the building.
Oversee repairs and maintenance of the property’s equipment.
Ensure property cleanliness and maintenance.
Properly plan for any emergency situations to include the monitoring and maintenance of the security, alarm, fire suppression and related systems.
Coordinate with the building retail regarding the repair and maintenance of shared systems and equipment.
Manage satisfactory work performed by vendors and contractors.
Perform regular walkthroughs of the property to identify and address any issues.
Manage the amenity spaces.
Order and distribute supplies.
Oversee the coordination of move-ins/outs.
Supervise and direct building staff.
Ensure compliance with company, 32BJ and building policies and procedure.
Oversee staff training, staff scheduling, and other related payroll and human resources responsibilities.
Assist management in the drafting, finalizing, and monitoring of the annual building budget.
Live on-site, remain available 24 x 7 in case of emergencies, and be available to independently resolve any resident or staff-related issues with Extell Management Services and Human Resources.
