About The Position

GSF Properties Inc. is seeking a Resident Manager in Fresno, CA. Join a dynamic and growing property management team! In this role, you will oversee all aspects of operations for a 112-unit market-rate community, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in market-rate housing, with a proven ability to drive occupancy, maximize revenue, and deliver an exceptional resident experience. You will be responsible for achieving leasing goals, maintaining the physical condition of the property, and supporting ownership’s financial objectives while upholding a high standard of customer service and community engagement. This position is Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work weekends as needed. The regular schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay range is $20.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience, and includes a two-bedroom apartment and benefits.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of property management or related experience, preferably in market-rate housing
  • Strong leasing and sales skills with a track record of achieving occupancy goals
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of property operations, including maintenance coordination and rent collections
  • Basic understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of a 112-unit market-rate community
  • Drive leasing efforts to achieve and sustain occupancy goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and foster strong resident relations and retention
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely service and quality property upkeep
  • Manage financial performance, including rent collections and expense control
  • Maintain property appearance, curb appeal, and overall condition
  • Prepare reports and support ownership’s financial and operational objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Support marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to support operational success
