About The Position
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Resident Inspector for our Construction Engineering Department in Wall, Camden and Newark, NJ. This role involves performing construction inspection on New Jersey based bridge and roadway projects, assisting in the review of cost estimates and project submittals, and coordinating with Project Managers. The ideal candidate will ensure daily contractor operations adhere to contract documents and maintain organized project files.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET Certification required.
- Experience performing construction inspection.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with construction projects.
- Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check
Responsibilities
- Perform construction inspection on New Jersey based bridge and roadway projects.
- Assist in the review of Cost Estimates and project submittals.
- Coordinate with Project Managers.
- Travel to projects sites when required.
- Ensure daily contractor operations are in accordance with Contract Documents.
- Keep organized and up to date project files.
