We are hiring a Resident Heavy Duty Mechanic to troubleshoot and deliver fast, effective solutions that keep our customers equipment moving in and around Castlegar. Requirements

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification
• Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr)
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of Power Systems and/or Marine equipment
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing
• Computer literacy along with Finning S-level courses

Nice To Haves

• Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in field
• Interface with customers, products and sales support
• Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds
• Component replacements
• Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication
