Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required).
A minimum of 3 years of experience working with residents in a similar facility is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging with residents and coordinating activities effectively.
Attention to detail and the ability to plan and execute diverse recreational programs are key.
Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, and database software will be necessary for managing activity schedules and volunteer coordination.
A proactive and customer-centric approach, coupled with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors, will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our residents.

Developing and implementing a diverse range of activities for our residents, both within our residence and in the local community.
Creating an enriching environment that fosters strong family connections, friendships, and engagement in recreational and social pursuits.
Ensuring that our recreation program complies with Department of Health regulations and meets the unique needs and interests of our residents.
Organizing off-site excursions.
Facilitating in-house leisure programs.
Maintaining a vibrant calendar of activities.
Ensuring that our recreational spaces are well-equipped and welcoming.
