About The Position
A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Resident Engineer for their Peoria team! This role involves overseeing inspection construction projects related to underground utility improvements, utilizing local, state, and federal funding. The position requires preparation of all construction documentation according to IDOT BLR & S requirements, and the ability to measure and calculate pay item quantities. The Resident Engineer will coordinate daily and weekly with clients.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 6+ years of construction experience
- Certification in Documentation of Contract Quantities
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Experience in MicroStation and GeoPak
- Inspection experience for utility facility improvements (lift stations, reservoirs, pump stations)
Responsibilities
- Oversee inspection construction project involving underground utility improvements using local, state and federal funding (water/sanitary/storm)
- Prepare all construction documentation according to IDOT BLR & S requirements
