This role is for a Resident Engineer to work on NYCDEP Pumping Station Rehabilitation projects. A NYS P.E. License is required, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience working on wastewater and water treatment projects. The candidate must be conversant with City specifications.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering and a NYS Professional Engineer License.
Minimum of eight (8) years’ construction management experience on wastewater and water treatment projects.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Resident Engineer on wastewater and water treatment projects.
NY PE License - required

Responsibilities

Supervise all activities of the project, and ensure full compliance to project plans and specifications and safety standards.
Oversee inspection personnel.
Ensure all reports, documentation, and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Review contractor submittmits for quality, compliance and completeness prior to forwarding to Engineer of Record.
