Reporting to the DCAMM Project Manager during Construction, this Resident Engineer/Clerk of the Works is responsible for on-site observations and daily reporting on progress, as well as monitoring and coordinating testing and inspection services full-time during the construction phase. The role involves communicating and collaborating with the Owner/Architect/OPM team to ensure project integrity and a high-quality work product that consistently meets or exceeds the project’s contract documents, drawings, and specifications. The Resident Engineer/Clerk of the Works will also maintain records at the OPM’s on-site field office, including but not limited to written and electronic correspondence, contract documents, change orders, change directives, reports, shop drawings, project data, and samples.
