This role involves managing projects, communicating timelines, financial limitations, and status updates to partners, and responding to non-emergency requests from tribal members and government. The manager monitors and supervises subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, and is responsible for inspecting and maintaining tribal facilities, performing various skilled and unskilled tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and HVAC functions. Administrative duties include maintaining inventory, preparing purchase orders, and reviewing timecards. The position requires problem-solving, preparing weekly work schedules, briefing team members daily, assigning and reviewing work quality, and ensuring quality standards are met. The manager also participates in hiring, disciplining, and on-the-job training of staff, attends management meetings, and ensures a clean, safe, hazard-free environment. Emergency situations may require work after normal hours.
