Join LIFE, Inc. - Goldsboro as a Resident Care Worker based in Wilson, NC. In this part-time role, you will provide compassionate, one-to-one support to a client, assisting with personal care, daily activities, and community involvement. With a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour paid bi-weekly, this position offers meaningful work helping individuals achieve greater independence and enhancing their quality of life. Shifts One to One part-time position. One to One every- other weekend position

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance and supervision to clients during personal care activities such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
Support clients during meals, encouraging the use of family-style dining to promote social interaction and independence.
Assist clients with various housekeeping tasks including clothing care, general cleaning, and yard maintenance.
Help clients prepare meals and nutritional supplements according to their individual needs.
Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor clients' adherence to their medication schedules.
Implement prescribed diet plans and ensure proper use of adaptive equipment as required.
Follow established behavior support programs, collect data, and adhere to all safety protocols.
Support clients in active treatment programs by assisting with training objectives, recording progress, and helping meet service goals.
Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team by effectively communicating client information under supervisory guidance.
Transport clients safely in company vehicles and supervise them during community outings.
Assist clients during participation in school and day program activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support client well-being and organizational goals.
