About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Shift Supervisor - Full-Time. Join the dedicated team at Grand Villa, a beautiful assisted living community in Sarasota, Florida, where we are committed to providing exceptional care and a warm, welcoming environment for our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a full-time Shift Supervisor, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of resident care during the 3 PM to 11 PM shift.

Requirements

Valid and current LPN license in the state of Florida
Proven experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living and nursing care
Compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to serving seniors
Background screening as mandated by Florida law

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during the 3 PM to 11 PM shift to ensure quality resident care
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff and caregivers
Document resident care accurately and maintain detailed shift reports
Assist with resident assessments and care planning as needed
Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents and staff
