About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living Facility Grand Villa of Deland is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nursing professionals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a supportive and welcoming environment. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a motivated individual to provide high-quality care during afternoon and evening shifts.

Requirements

Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations and standards

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders
Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Document resident care and maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement personalized care plans
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment
