About The Position

Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care? As a Resident Care Manager, you will lead and support care teams to ensure residents receive high-quality, personalized services in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. In this role, you will partner with residents, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college coursework preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
  • 1–3 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer systems
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must meet all applicable state licensing requirements (if required)
  • CPR certification preferred (or required per state guidelines)

Nice To Haves

  • LVN or LPN license preferred (or required based on state regulations)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily care operations to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
  • Supervise, coach, and support care associates to promote excellence in resident care
  • Monitor resident well-being and promptly address changes in condition
  • Coordinate care services and collaborate with physicians and external healthcare providers
  • Ensure accurate implementation of physician orders and care plans
  • Oversee or support medication management processes (as applicable)
  • Review documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident, family, and team member concerns
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow to meet operational and budgetary goals
  • Support payroll processes, including timekeeping and labor management
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance development of team members
  • Foster a culture of engagement, recognition, and continuous improvement
  • Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and daily operational planning
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and organizational standards
  • Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life
  • Support the community sales process and overall resident experience
