Resident Care Coordinator (LVN/LPN/RN)
About The Position
Waters Edge Lodge is looking to add a new Nurse to our team. The primary functions of our Nurse are: Monitoring care plans, Wound care, Diabetic management, Medication management, and Overall care supervision. Waters Edge Lodge is a licensed 101-apartment assisted living community where residents can maintain an independent and active lifestyle. The Lodge offers an extensive list of programs and activities, creating a stimulating social atmosphere where friendships develop and thrive. Nestled in a unique and peaceful setting on the lagoon of Harbor Bay, residents can enjoy the many walking trails in the community or visit one of the many professional services, cafes, shops and major stores at Harbor Bay Landing Shopping Center located next door. Our communities are pet friendly, residents may have animals in their private apartments and dogs are walked through the building.
Requirements
- Current, valid CA nursing license
- Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
- Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
- Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
- Knowledgeable in geriatrics
- Proficient communicators
- Proactive
- Reliable
- Current COVID19 vaccination
- Routine COVID tests
- Physical TB test
- Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & Dept. of Justice
