About The Position

The Resident Care Coordinator implements standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis in the Assisted Living units of the campus. The role oversees nursing aspects and directs and evaluates Assisted Living and Memory Care personnel who provide direct resident care. The coordinator maintains resident documentation, supports regulatory compliance, oversees medication administration and resident response to treatments, leads staff meetings and the nursing program, and conducts daily resident rounds.

Requirements

Two- or four-year college or university degree.
Current state licensure as a nurse.
Two years of experience in a similar healthcare position.
Remain in good standing with all standards of the Nurse Practice Act.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
Ability to use electronic records, miscellaneous software, and office equipment.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Assisted Living experience and valid state licensure are required.

Nice To Haves

Five years of healthcare experience desired.

Responsibilities

Maintain residents’ charts, including admission documents, care plans, records of care, and other documents required by state regulatory agencies.
Operate the Skilled Nursing area in compliance with applicable federal, state, and other governmental regulations, and act as liaison between the campus and regulatory agencies.
Implement administration of resident medications, assess responses to medications and treatments, and make appropriate adjustments or recommendations for nursing activities.
Participate in and lead staff meetings and implement the nursing program.
Conduct daily resident rounds and initiate corrective action as necessary.
Attend and participate in scheduled in-service training and education programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
