The Resident Care Associate is responsible for meeting the needs of elders, including personal care, therapeutic programming, safety, and emotional support, while upholding their dignity, independence, choice, and individuality. This role involves delivering services as outlined in each resident's approved service plan. The associate will promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living, actively participate in growing community occupancy by representing the community positively, and complete required orientation and training programs. Key duties include assisting residents with medications, engaging them in meaningful interactions and activities of daily living, monitoring for changes in their needs and health status, assisting with clothing, laundry, and bedtime routines, and maintaining the neatness of resident units. The associate will respond promptly to emergency calls, participate in ongoing in-service training, escort residents to meals and activities, and document all services provided, including incidents and behaviors, using the community's computer tracking system. They will also conduct and facilitate programming that offers cognitive stimulation, socialization, physical activity, and spiritual connection.
