About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay and a supportive work environment. As an RCA, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily living activities and ensuring their rights are upheld. This role also serves as a stepping stone for those looking to obtain healthcare licensure such as CNA, LPN, or RN.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Responsibilities
- Assist professional nursing staff in providing care to Assisted Living residents.
- Support residents with daily living activities including personal care, providing fresh water, maintaining cleanliness, changing linens, weighing residents, preparing for meals, and distributing nourishments.
- Ensure Resident Rights are upheld and report any suspected abuse or neglect.
- Serve as a temporary stepping stone toward obtaining healthcare licensure (CNA, LPN, RN, etc.).
- Apply basic sanitation knowledge.
