Modern Family Law (MFL) is seeking 3Ls and recent graduates to participate in its MFL Academy’s Residency Program in Colorado. This hybrid role requires candidates to sit for the Colorado Bar exam and reside within a reasonable commute to one of the firm's Colorado offices (Denver, Colorado Springs, or Fort Collins). The Residency Program provides training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy, with mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams. Upon passing the Bar, residents transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position. The firm offers a remote-first setting with available office space, a low billable hours requirement (100 per month) for Associate Attorneys, direct client contact, case management in divorce, child custody, and financial support matters, opportunities for first-chair litigation experience, access to technology, ongoing learning and development, and transparent advancement tracks.
