About The Position

Modern Family Law (MFL) is seeking 3Ls and recent graduates to participate in MFL Academy’s Residency Program in one of their Texas offices (Austin, Dallas, or San Antonio). This role is hybrid, requiring the candidate to sit for the Bar and plan to reside in the state where they are applying. After the Bar exam, residents will receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy, with mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams. This program aims to help residents successfully transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar. The program offers a remote-first setting with brick and mortar space available, a low billable hours requirement (100 per month) as an Associate Attorney, direct client contact and case management, the ability to practice litigation skills as first chair early in their career, access to cutting-edge technology, ongoing learning and development support, and transparent advancement tracks and leadership opportunities.
