Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School/GED
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful with older adults
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced caregiving environment
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and document care accurately
  • Willing to complete required training and certifications
  • Criminal background check is required for new hires.
  • Fingerprints may be required as part of the check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on, resident-centered care that supports dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide compassionate personal care while respecting each resident's privacy and preferences.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident safety devices.
  • Monitor residents' well-being and communicate changes to the care team.
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Encourage participation in activities and meaningful daily engagement.
  • Accurately document care provided and observations before the end of your shift.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and resident rights standards.
