Under the general supervision of the Program Director, a Resident Assistant monitors activity of Residents in the facility; maintains security and safety of all Residents; and provides assistance to homeless families in support of resolution of homelessness. A Resident Assistant is also a key person in screening shelter calls, receiving donations, engaging with volunteers, preparing meals, and making appropriate referrals to both residents and non-residents. Resident Assistant, (Flex/Position), will have a flexible staffing and operational availability based on the needs of the program. This is a full-time position, guaranteed 40 hours per week, designed to provide coverage for employee call-offs, vacations, approved time off, staffing shortages, and other unexpected coverage needs.
