About The Position

The Resident Assistant provides care and support to residents in an assisted living community. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, transporting them within the community, responding to requests and emergencies, following resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Resident Care department, paying USD 17.50–USD 19.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
