About The Position
Cameron Woods is a spacious residential community, conveniently located in a natural setting just north of Angola. We offer an assisted living alternative for seniors who may be uncomfortable living on their own. Designed to provide a sense of security while helping residents maintain their independence, Cameron Woods offers a choice of apartment styles, care levels and financial options to suit the individual needs of each resident. Cameron Woods is operated by individuals from the local community, who encourage strong involvement of the residents and their families. Our dedicated staff combine a relaxed residential environment with a full menu of programs geared toward individuals and groups, as well as community activities in the Steuben County area.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with the elderly
- A team player
- Two years home health care
- Ability to speak & listen clearly/slowly for an elderly population
- Maintain excellent guest services with upbeat attitude
- Make concise decisions quickly under pressure
Nice To Haves
- CPR within 6 months of employment required
Responsibilities
- Med reminders/watches, shower, and dressing assistance
- Housekeeping of resident rooms and common areas
- Resident and in-house laundry
- Tableside service and room service at meals
- Cold food preparation and setup
- Daily documentation
