About The Position

Ebenezer is hiring a Resident Assistant for one of its newest senior living communities in River Falls, WI. This caregiver position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing. The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents’ storage area. The community is located in River Falls, WI.

Requirements

Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines.
Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: Bathing/showering; Foot and fingernail care; Shaving; Dressing; Assistance with use of hearing aids and/or glasses; Hair care; Feeding; Toileting; Escorts; 1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical lift
Provides health-related services as directed
Performs specified home services
Follows cleaning schedule for the shift worked.
Delivers meal trays.
Assists with meal service in dining room.
Assists with preparing for and/or facilitating resident social and recreational activities as assigned and as requested.
Observes tenants/residents and reports status to appropriate staff.
Notifies appropriate staff of changes in physical and/or emotional conditions such as change in attitude or mood, loss of appetite, change in weight.
Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment
Offers pertinent observations and input.
Responds appropriately to resident and building emergencies.
Demonstrates proper resident care procedures
