About The Position

Home Again is hiring Resident Assistants to help create a warm, welcoming, and caring environment for residents. The role involves providing compassionate support to older adults and people with physical challenges, assisting with personal care and everyday activities, and helping residents participate in meaningful activities. Both part-time and full-time hours are available across AM, PM, and NOC shifts. Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Have a caring heart and a genuine desire to work with older adults and people with physical challenges.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Have strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide kind, respectful, and compassionate care to residents.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Help residents with meals, dining, and mobility, including wheelchair or walking assistance.
• Offer reminders about meals and activities.
• Respond to resident call lights with care and urgency.
• Engage residents in Life Enrichment activities.
• Support the team with other tasks that help the community run smoothly.
