About The Position
Resident Assistant at Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds, an assisted living community in Alexandria, MN. Residents need someone who shows up ready to help with the moments that matter: getting dressed, moving safely from bed to chair, and having someone notice when something's off. This role involves assisting residents with daily personal care, supporting safe transfers and mobility, administering medications, building relationships, and observing and reporting changes in health or mood.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
Nice To Haves

- Experience or training in a health-related field
Responsibilities
- Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
- Support safe transfers and mobility using trained techniques and equipment
- Assist with or administer medications according to residents' care plans
- Build real relationships with residents and respond quickly when they need you
- Watch for changes in a resident's health or mood and report them to nursing staff
- Bring calm, patience, and respect to every interaction
Benefits
- $19.19–$22.25/hour based on experience
- $500 AM, $1,000 NOC sign-on bonus (40+ hours per pay period)
- $1/hour PM shift differential
