Resident Assistant, Assisted Living - NOC
About The Position
Spectrum Retirement Communities believes in living without limits, aging fearlessly, and sharing great stories. The Resident Assistant, Assisted Living role is a full-time position with an overnight schedule from 7pm to 7am. In this position, your main responsibilities will include providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment. You will also be responsible for transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining. Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner is crucial. Additionally, you will review and adhere to resident care plans, as well as obtain vital signs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- All state educational requirements for the position must be met
- CPR certification preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
- A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
