Resident Aide, Full Time, 6:00AM-2:30PM
About The Position
Royal Atrium Inn, Assisted Living, a Providence Life Services Community, located in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Resident Aide. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. The pay scale is $16.05 - $19.35/hour, based on relevant experience. Resumes submitted must have up-to-date work history. This is a permanent position, not a summer or temporary role. The primary role involves working closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to residents according to their needs. Typical activities include assisting residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional responsibilities include reminding residents of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documenting work. No previous experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

- Must be patient, caring & respectful.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
- Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprinting for criminal background check and complete a reference check.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and care to residents in accordance with their needs.
- Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring.
- Remind residents of medications.
- Make beds.

- Document work performed.
